About Us

Leinster Clinic Biomechanics Lab is run by David Kingston who is a B.Sc. (Hons) qualified Senior Orthotist. He has trained and worked at some of the finest Orthopaedic Hospitals in the world including The Nuffield in Oxford and was head of the Orthotics Department at The National Orthopaedic Hospital of Ireland (Cappagh). He has worked with some of the finest Orthopaedic Surgeons in the world including the two prominent Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeons in Ireland.

David is State registered in the UK (www.hpc-uk.org) and a member of the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (www.bapo.com). Unfortunately, there is no state registration or regulation for the provision of Orthotics in Ireland.

David has lectured on Orthotic Therapy throughout Ireland and the UK. He is a foot and ankle advisor to The Diabetes Federation of Ireland (www.diabetes.ie)

Biomechanics is not an 'add-on' to our practice. It is all we do and are trained to do. If appropriate we can refer you other professionals at The Leinster Clinic including physiotherapists, strength/conditioning coaches, nutritions and orthopaedic surgoens.
